For their 60th anniversary year e2v are supporting Greenpower by donating six Goblin kit cars to local Essex primary schools, and four Seagull kit cars to secondary schools near their Lincolnshire site. This is backed up with the organisation of a Goblin event at the e2v Chelmsford site and sponsorship of the Formula 24 heat at Darley Moor Circuit.

Conekt
Conekt is the external consultancy arm of TRW Automotive, and provides services in engineering, knowledge and technology. Conekt offers a complete engineering service from concept design and development, through to prototype and validation testing to low volume manufacture. Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining
An important objective of the Automotive Application Division of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining is to promote materials technology to potential engineers in schools. The support to Greenpower is awarded in recognition of the opportunities provided by the Greenpower competition for youngsters to partake in an exciting and educational engineering programme. It is evident that during the competition, their interation with the structural build of the vehicles and the materials technology promotes keen interest in the science.
