The Greenpower Education Trust achieved charity status in January 2010. This has provided the organisation with a great resource in the form of our talented Trustees:
Humphrey Avon
Humphrey is Chairman of the Board and brings with him a wealth of knowledge from both his business and charitable experiences.
Edward Way
Edward has been a great supporter of Greenpower since we started in 1999 and is now involved in the development of new projects and challenges for the charity. He was also the key driving force behind The Greenpower Centre.
Tony Baxter
Tony is Financial Director of Fordingbridge plc and assists in keeping Greenpower's accounts in order.
Vaughan Clarke
Vaughan first got involved with the project when he was Head of Design and Technology at St Swithun's School. Since retiring he has been a great ambassador for the project and an educational advisor.
Jeremy Wootton
Jeremy is a partner at Thomas Eggar solicitors and helps the Trust with any legal matters.
Emma Bowyer
Emma has one of the best pedigrees for a Trustee as she used to be a member of a Greenpower team at St Swithun's School. Now studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nottingham she is delighted to continue her involvement with the project.
Josh Evans
Similarly Josh was also once a Greenpower team member with Trinity School. He has recently done a year in industry with Williams F1 and is now continuing his Mechanical Engineering Degree at Bath University.
Chrissie Lines
Chrissie is currently a teacher at Churcher's College. The college have been involved with Greenpower for a number of years so Chrissie will be able to offer the Board excellent insight into school policy and Greenpower's value within the school.
