Bentley Enter the Leading Electric Car Challenge
Bentley have taken up the challenge to get involved in the largest electric car racing series in the UK. The apprentices at Bentley Motors were eager to build a car to the Greenpower specification using just the 24 volt electric motor and batteries supplied to them.
Greenpower, supported by Siemens, have been running three EV racing series for the past twelve years however, the teams are usually students from schools across the UK. Once a year the IET Formula 24 challenge is opened up to corporate entries
A total of 30 teams are expected at Silverstone on 1 May where the ultimate champion will be decided.
