Lisa originally is a trained electrical engineer and a qualified secondary Maths teacher. She first encountered Greenpower as a Teacher almost 20years ago when teaching Maths in a local secondary school. She then introduced Greenpower to The JCB Academy which was the first engineering academy in the country when it opened. She left JCBA to take a role consulting to UTCs and exam boards and advocated for Greenpower at every opportunity as she firmly believes it to be a great vehicle to inspire young people with a project that can take young people towards STEM careers. During this time she joined the board and led education initiatives to link to the 14-19 curriculum and links with DofE and CREST schemes. She also worked with Formula E when we linked with them through their inaugural season and our foray into international franchising. She has remained on the board and thoroughly enjoy advocating for and being a part of Greenpower despite life having taken me on a different path.
