Regional Heats Underway

The 2012 IET Formula 24 regional heats along with the IET Formula 24+ Championship got underway at a soggy Goodwood Motor Circuit on Sunday. Despite the weather some great mileages were recorded in both races with Horsfall Racing's iWhoosh coming home first in IET Formula 24+ ahead of Electrack Young Engineers and Chipping Sodbury School's R-PodS. St Paul's Catholic College in Stealth Aero fended off The Weald School and Chipping Sodbury School's Rotary Racer in the four hour IET Formula 24 race to take current top spot in the battle for qualification for the National Finals.

Next the Greenpower team head to the Grampian Transport Musem in Alford Aberdeenshire for the next of the regional heats on Friday as well as an IET Formula Goblin event at the same venue on Saturday.
