IET Formula Goblin
IET Formula Goblin events are run on a points system. The team with the least amount of points at the end of the day are the overall winners. After six attempts of both the slalom and the drag race events, the fastest car will win one point, the second fastest two points, etc.
Additional awards carry minus points as well, so make sure you make yourself known to the judges on the day. In particular the Portfolio Award carries minus points for every team that enters a portfolio, with the winning team gaining bonus minus points. It is therefore beneficial to enter this additional award by bringing a portfolio of the build of your car along to each event and handing it in at Race Administration.
IET Formula 24
The winner of an IET Formula 24 race is the car that covers the greatest distance in 90 minutes, measured using a transponder which is provided to each team at each event. Trophies are awarded to the top three from both races at each event; results are not combined.
IET Formula 24+
The winner of an IET Formula 24+ round is the car that covers the greatest distance in 60 minutes, measured using a transponder which is provided to each team at each event. Trophies are awarded to the top three from each race.
2020 Gathering of Goblins Qualification (IET Formula Goblin)
No qualification is required to compete at the Gathering of Goblins. We welcome entrants from far and wide to compete against each other in the biggest IET Formula Goblin event of the year.
2020 International Final Qualification (IET Formula 24) & International Kit Car Final Qualification (IET Formula 24)
The top three cars with the best race distance at an official Greenpower heat receive an automatic qualification. If a car has already qualified at a previous heat the next best race distance will receive the qualification. Teams that have automatically qualified will receive a "Q]" next to their team name on the F24 Distance Table (http://www.bbk-online.net/gpt/distance11.htm).
The remaining spaces will be determined by the order of the F24 Distance Table. Each car's best mileage from a single race at an official Greenpower heat (mileages from race 1 & 2 are not combined) will be included in the table and ranked highest to lowest. Places will be awarded until 45 Scratch Built teams are invited to enter the IET F24 International Grand Final and 45 Kit Car teams are invited to enter the Kit Car International Grand Final.
Please remember that the table will update after each heat meaning that your position in the qualification table is likely to change during the course of the season. After the final heat of the season, the International Final entry list will be confirmed and you will be notified if you have qualified for the event.
Kit Car only: The Kit Car must have been supplied by Greenpower and the Chassis must remain unmodified in order to be able to compete in the International Kit Car Final as per technical regulation T15.
2020 IET Formula 24+ Championship (IET Formula 24+)
In order to be counted in the IET Formula 24+ Championship, teams must compete in two official Greenpower rounds during the season, as well as the International Final. The championship winner will be the team with the highest points total when combining their two best regional rounds plus their position at the International final. Points will be awarded as follows:

If you attend more than one heat during the season, your best mileage will be the mileage that marks your position in the table. Mileage from multiple heats are not combined, only one race mileage will appear in the table.
