Greenpower Welcomes Shared Chair Role as Charity Enters New Phase of Growth

4 June 2026

Greenpower Education Trust is pleased to announce that the role of Chair will now be shared by Dr Nash Vracas and Peter Coyle, bringing together two experienced leaders to help guide the charity through its next phase of growth.

The announcement comes at a pivotal time for Greenpower, as the charity looks to expand its reach and impact. By sharing the role, Dr Vracas and Mr Coyle will work closely together to support the organisation's strategic development and ensure Greenpower continues to inspire young people through engineering, motorsport, and STEM education.

Dr Nash Vracas has served as Chair for the past four and a half years, overseeing a period of growth and development for the charity. Reflecting on the new shared leadership arrangement, she said:

"I'm really proud of how the organisation has grown over the last 4.5 years, but with the number of exciting projects on the horizon, I'm delighted to now be sharing the Chair role with Pete. He has been invaluable to the Board and I already know his wisdom and experience will help drive Greenpower forward in ways I had only dreamt of."

Peter Coyle, who has already made a significant contribution as a trustee, welcomed the opportunity to take on the role alongside Dr Vracas.

"I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to share the Chair role with Nash, who is a fantastic leader. We have a great team of trustees and the staff are brilliant. I’m looking forward to delivering the exciting projects that will help inspire young people into STEM careers."

The shared Chair arrangement reflects Greenpower's collaborative approach to leadership and its commitment to building a strong and sustainable future. Working alongside the Board of Trustees, staff, volunteers and partners, Dr Vracas and Mr Coyle will help steer the organisation as it continues to expand opportunities for young people across the world.

Greenpower remains dedicated to its mission of inspiring the next generation of engineers, innovators and problem-solvers, providing hands-on experiences that develop skills, confidence and ambition both on and off the track.

Everyone at Greenpower would like to congratulate Peter on his appointment and thank both Dr Nash Vracas and Peter Coyle for their continued commitment to the charity and its mission!
